The following simulation demonstrates modeling of flow around the eagle while flying. The modeling is done by means of LB method implemented in ACLib from scratch. ACLib provides very efficient function to conduct rather simplistic flow modeling around objects. Working with your own functions makes it very pleasing while quite often using others’ incomplete, wrong and badly implemented code makes you wonder if it is worth your time and energy put on.
At Alghalandis Computing my preference is to implement everything from scratch or bare bone if possible. When not possible I make significant effort to avoid falling in the trap of multiple third party codes.
